Genesis is the 11-14s youth ministry made up of young people from both Christ Church sites, Northcourt Road and Long Furlong (hyperlink).

On Tuesday nights at 6:30pm Genesis youth meet in the Corner Suite at Northcourt Road. We start off in a big group with all sorts of fun and games, then into small groups (called cell groups) to study the Bible, pray, and eat cake! On Sundays the Genesis youth meet in different groups; 'Pathfinders' is in the New Barns at Northcourt Road at 11.15am. 'Lazers' meets at Long Furlong School at 10am. Youth from Genesis also serve in various ways each month. This includes children’s groups, hospitality, and helping to lead worship during the services.

We also run various Socials and other events throughout the year. Everything from games nights to ice-skating, bowling & film nights! Each year we also go for a Outdoor Pursuits Weekend Away and to the New Wine Bible Week in Somerset (3rd to 10th August 2008) which are always a great adventure.
