Welcome to the CCA Youth Pages!

Hi! I’m Matt Luscombe, the Youth Pastor here at Christ Church Northcourt Road & Long Furlong. We’ve heard all of the excuses for teenagers not wanting to get plugged into a youth ministry. It’s boring….I won’t know anyone….all the people who go to church are nerds. We’re ready for all of those excuses.

The youth team have designed a youth ministry where you’ll not only have fun & meet loads of great people, but it’s also a place where you can grow in character and spiritual maturity through learning about God’s word and being changed by God’s Holy Spirit.

In addition to our regular weekly groups and socials we….
· Go on a youth Weekend Away at the Pioneer Centre in Kidderminster in the Autumn term, which is always a highlight of the year!
· Go to the New Wine Bible Week in Somerset during the summer holidays
· Are part of Desire…… which is the network of Christian youth groups and youth leaders across the Abingdon area. As a network we are actively involved in many of the local secondary schools, and we also run outreach events through the year. Have a look at www.desire4god.org for more info.
