Looking for a previous Notice sheet? Find them all on the Term Calendar page.

If you are a visitor or newcomer to Long Furlong, a warm welcome to you. Please speak to the service leader and pick up a Welcome to Long Furlong leaflet and a term programme for more information.

Safety advice: we love having your children with us, but please remember that your children's safety is your responsibility whilst on the school premises and they must not be left unsupervised at any time, especially after the services.

While you're on the school premises ... The school has kindly given us permission to use the main hall, nursery, music room, the central outdoor play area (with adult supervision only), the toilets opposite the photocopier, and the corridors needed to get at them. However, please note that all other areas, especially classrooms, are out of bounds. For security reasons, no external doors or windows should be opened except by an adult, who must ensure that they are closed and locked afterwards

PRAYER AFTER THE SERVICE
If anyone would like someone to pray with them on any occasion, or after the service on Sunday, please ask whoever is leading the service, and we will direct you to an appropriate person.

PASTORAL TEAM
If you or anyone you know needs to be visited or would appreciate prayer, please contact Alison Summers (535102), Wendy Crocker (524096) or Cathy Walker (528134).  If you are interested in getting involved in visiting, please speak to one of the team.

HOLIDAY 2010, RHOS ON SEA
We have arranged a holiday at St Winifred’s, Rhos on Sea, North Wales, again this year, from 31st May-4th June. Already 27 folk are going, it would not be impossible to take one or two more. It was a great time last year, we anticipate the programme this year being even more enjoyable. If you are interested in joining us please do contact one of the planning committee (Mike Warner, Wendy Crocker, Janet Chapman or Brian and Peggy Woolnough) as soon as possible.

The time for the annual revision of the electoral roll is now upon us. Displayed in the entrance hall is the present roll. Also available are application forms for those wishing to go on the roll and correction forms for any errors or changes in the existing roll. The electoral roll reflects those are over 16 and members of our congregation and is the basis for voting at our annual meetings. Spencer M. White (521369)

RICHARD MOON WRITES:
On 21st March I will be running the Reading Half Marathon with a group from Abingdon School in aid of Helen & Douglas House. Helen & Douglas House provide respite and end of life care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, as well as support and friendship for the whole family. They are almost entirely funded by voluntary donations to help them support 250-300 families each year. If you would like to sponsor me, please go to http://www.justgiving.co.uk/abingdonschool where you can make a secure online donation using Gift Aid. Many thanks.
