Safety advice: we love having your children with us, but please remember that your children's safety is your responsibility whilst on the school premises and they must not be left unsupervised at any time, especially after the services.
While you're on the school premises ... The school has kindly given us permission to use the main hall, nursery, music room, the central outdoor play area (with adult supervision only), the toilets opposite the photocopier, and the corridors needed to get at them. However, please note that all other areas, especially classrooms, are out of bounds. For security reasons, no external doors or windows should be opened except by an adult, who must ensure that they are closed and locked afterwards

If anyone would like someone to pray with them on any occasion, or after the service on Sunday, please ask whoever is leading the service, and we will direct you to an appropriate person.

Each evening will begin at 8.00pm with three practical 15 minute talks based on personal practice and experience. This will be followed by refreshments. The second half of the evening till 9.30pm is for Q&A with each speaker and the opportunity to explore some of the ideas heard earlier.

We are hoping to begin these again weather permitting leaving Church at Northcourt Road at 10am. All welcome. Monday 29th March - a one hour short walk in the Boars Hill / Wootton area with coffee after at Rosemary Maund's home. Tuesday 20th April, Wednesday 12th May, Friday 18th June, Thursday 15th July. DRAGON BOAT DAY is a family event from 10am - 5pm on Sunday 9th May at the Thames in Abingdon, and Man2Man would like to enter a team again this year. We're looking for around 20 rowers and a drummer (must be over 16 years old). No experience needed, and please consider inviting friends/colleagues to join in for the day. EASTER HOLIDAY CLUB
On Good Friday 2nd April at Long Furlong School in the morning. This is for primary school aged children and will include music, crafts, activities, Easter talk and puppets. Tickets will be available very soon and there are loads of opportunities to help.
ONE HOUR A FORTNIGHT CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Archway in Abingdon (and Oxford) is looking for thoughtful listeners (male and female) who can give one hour a fortnight to make a difference to someone’s week. MONTHLY CHURCH MEETINGS

ALPHA AWAY DAY
This is an exciting opportunity to attend an Alpha away day, which is focussed on the Holy Spirit, on Saturday 27th March. The invitation is for anyone in the congregation who would like to come. CHRIST CHURCH CRAFT GROUP

ELECTORAL ROLL REVISION
The time for the annual revision of the electoral roll is now upon us. Displayed in the entrance hall is the present roll. Also available are application forms for those wishing to go on the roll and correction forms for any errors or changes in the existing roll. On 21st March I will be running the Reading Half Marathon with a group from Abingdon School in aid of Helen & Douglas House. Helen & Douglas House provide respite and end of life care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions, as well as support and friendship for the whole family. They are almost entirely funded by voluntary donations to help them support 250-300 families each year. OPENING THE DOORS
The Barns Project Development Team invites you to join them in the Corner Suite at Northcourt Road from 8.00-9.00 pm on Monday 15th March for their second prayer session. We want to pray for the many aspects of the Barns project as it continues to develop, for those ministries within the community that are already happening and to seek God's heart as we look outwards as a church to serve others in love.
