Safety advice: we love having your children with us, but please remember that your children's safety is your responsibility whilst on the school premises and they must not be left unsupervised at any time, especially after the services.
While you're on the school premises ... The school has kindly given us permission to use the main hall, nursery, music room, the central outdoor play area (with adult supervision only), the toilets opposite the photocopier, and the corridors needed to get at them. However, please note that all other areas, especially classrooms, are out of bounds. For security reasons, no external doors or windows should be opened except by an adult, who must ensure that they are closed and locked afterwards

ASSOCIATE VICAR INTERVIEWS ... NEWS UPDATE
No appointment was made last week. We had a strong sense from God that this was the right thing to do and that we should wait. There was a word from 1 Samuel 16: 3-13 particularly verse 11 that came and was later confirmed by someone else not involved who had had the same passage given. Thank you for your prayers, they were key. We shall hopefully advertise again in the autumn. Tim
CAMPING WEEKEND
If you are joining us on the camping weekend, please could I have your deposit of £12 per family? Thank you. Anne Taylor
PRIME TIME: 10th – 13th August
Brochures and booking forms are available from the entrance hall – please give a flyer to a friend of neighbour.
OPENING THE DOORS – GIFT WEEKEND UPDATE
The gift weekend resulted in gifts and pledges of over £220,000 – praise God! We already have funds of £85,000 from earlier phases of the project, giving a total of £305,000. We also have offers of interest-free loans of £70,000. This means that we have raised over half the funds needed to redevelop the small barn into the Coffee Shop.
This is an amazing achievement in a single weekend. We are now working on grant applications and are holding talks with the Diocese about other funding options. Please continue praying while we work towards the goal of securing sufficient funding to begin.
Thank you to everyone who responded prayerfully and sacrificially. If you missed the gift weekend or have not yet returned your donation form, please hand it in to the office as soon as possible. Many thanks. Jenny Corps, Project Treasurer

On Saturday 22nd May, the CiA celebrated Pentecost with a community event in the Market Square. Free cake was handed out and there were many activities for families to enjoy, including story telling, bouncy castle, face painting and other fun things! Lots of positive conversations were reported and people seemed genuinely delighted that the churches were showing God's love in a practical and fun way. On Sunday there was a service, again in the Market Square, and this too was attended by a good number of people. A big thank you to all those from Northcourt Road and Long Furlong who helped in making this possible.
