We meet most Sunday mornings
in the main hall at Long Furlong Primary School, in Boulter
Drive in North Abingdon.

Like many church plants, we don't have
a formal church building to meet in. We rent the hall and
put out a loose semicircle of chairs each week, with benches
at the front for the smallest ones. This informal setting
works particularly well for the younger people, and our older
members seem very comfortable with it, too. It also allows
us to use the space in different ways when needed.
The school is only a few years old;
bright, modern, yet particularly attractive and friendly in
its design and layout. The main hall where we meet is spacious,
able to cope with well over a hundred people without crowding,
but comfortably proportioned so it's easy to see and hear
what is going on.
Disabled
friendly: limited mobility and wheelchair users can
park directly outside the main door, and access is wide and
free of steps. There is a special adapted toilet cubicle close
to the main hall. If you have any particular needs, our Welcome
Team is on hand to help.
For special services and some childrens'
groups we use the Community Centre, conveniently right next
door. We also use these excellent facilities for our occasional
'breakfast' gatherings where we all get together to say hello
or goodbye to someone special, before the service.
