Alpha

"What am I doing here?"

At sometime in our life, most of us ask a question like this. Alpha provides an opportunity to explore this and other "questions of life" and to find out the Christian response to them. Over 10 weeks, in an informal and relaxed setting, you will have the opportunity to express your opinions and ideas, and ask any question without being criticised or corrected. Alpha is open to everyone, wherever you are on the spiritual journey.

Launch Event

If you are interested in finding out more about Alpha or you know someone who might like to come join us contact the church office. There'll be more information on the Alpha course at Christ Church as well as the opportunity to meet others who are taking part.

Evening Alpha Course

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and non-threatening environment over 10 weeks. We start in the evening with a drink and informal meal together each week, followed by a short talk and time for open discussion within small groups.

Evening Alpha course, starting on Wednesday 5th October, 7.30pm in the Corner Suite at Christ Church.

Daytime Alpha Course

The daytime Alpha course is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, over 10 weeks. Each morning begins with coffee and cakes, followed by a short talk and discussion. We provide a creche for under 5's.

Daytime Ladies Alpha course, starts Tuesday 27th September, 9.45am in the Corner Suite at Christ Church.
