Every Sunday you will find a lively and welcoming atmosphere at Christ Church Northcourt Road. Whilst attending the 9:30, 11:15 or 6:30 services we hope you will experience an informal setting with contemporary music and relevant Bible teaching. We offer exciting and engaging groups for children as well as a creche during our 9:30 service, which is bursting with young families. In between our 9:30 and 11:15 services, church members and visitors meet for coffee in our hall. Our 11:15 service is slightly more traditional in feel than that at 9:30, tending more towards hymns instead of modern choruses. Younger youth (11-14) meet during the 11:15. Our 6:30 Evening service at Northcourt Road is our most contemporary service, with very modern music and a greater focus on the work of God's Spirit in his church. For those who prefer a highly traditional service, we offer an 8:00 am “1662” Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. The 8:00am is an intimate service focusing around communion and the written words of the book of common prayer.
In addition to Northcourt Road, we also have a well established “Church plant” that meets at Long Furlong Primary School at 10:00 am every Sunday Morning. For more information please see the Christ Church Long Furlong designated website.
Christ Church is an Anglican church in the Diocese of Oxford. We have strong links with organisations such as New Wine, Alpha and the Willow Creek Association.
